“The 2018 Corliss Red Wine is also all from Red Mountain but is equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It’s another thrilling wine offering pure cassis and ripe cherry fruits, notes of spring flowers, tobacco, and damp earth, medium to full body, ripe, building tannins, and flawless balance. Brilliant any way you look at it, it will benefit from 3-4 years (at least) of bottle age and should keep for two decades. It’s up with the crème de la crème of the vintage – and the state.”
